There were two versions of the AE86 and two styles. The versions are commonly known by their Japanese names, firstly the zenki, early model and secondly the kouki, later model. The zenki was produced from 1983 until 1985 and the kouki from 1986 to 1987. The chassis remained the same throughout production with the only changes being aesthetic and minor strengthening of the transmission. The two styles available are the coupe and the hatchback. The coupe is generally thought of as being the stronger of the two and is slightly lighter, therefore is often chosen for racing purposes. The hatchback is the more well known shape and is usually more in demand than the coupe, this is partly due to a popular Japanese cartoon called Initial D.

AE86 4A-GE Engine Specifications
The 4A-GE is one of the many variations of the 4A series engine. The GE is the high performance sport version of the 4A, the G signifies a wide angle twin cam head, and the E signifies EFI or Electronic Fuel Injection. The predecessor of the 4A-GE was the 2T-G, the 2T-G was the first of Toyotas now legendary series of twin cam engines. The 4A-GE has four main variations, briefly, these are the blue-top 88KW version found in the AE86 and AE82, the red-top 100KW version found in the AE92, the silver-top 120KW version found in the AE101 and finally the black-top 123KW version from the latest AE111. AE86 T-50 Transmission Specifications
The T-50 is a 5 speed manual transmission that was available in the AE86 and some early Celicas. The transmission uses a standard H gate selector. The T-50 is designed for use with 88KW low torque engines but is capable of much more. Most enthusiasts agree that the T-50 can handle 150KW without problems providing it is looked after, however if power output is higher a recommended upgrade is the bullet proof W55-W58 supra transmission.

ese coche me pareceria un milago que apareciese alguno por aky, creo ke solo se vendio en japon.
en mayorca creo ke hay, pero la version levin, la de los faros fijos, y la version coupe muy utilizada pal drift 
que pena,últimamente me llamaba mucho la atención y me parece un coche equilibradisimo y muy cañero.

de japon importado te lo podrian mandar en un contenedor, te tardaria 2 meses, pero si te buscas la vida se puede conseguir, aunke me parece un coche ke no merece la pena importar, pero bueno para gustos colores.
me mola el sprinter trueno , pero , para importarlo , no se , es demasiado targin , ademas , si las piezas las tengo que pedir a japon , no me mola.
sobre el motor no me preocupo , supongo que sera el mismo que el celica gti
tambien pienso en el crx , pero no el “del sol” , el anterior , pues me parece idéntico al trueno , exceptuando que el crx es de traccion delantera.
de todas formas , hay una version del crx de 160 cv???me refiero al modelo del 1989-1992 o 93

no es en maLLorca! es en las islas canarias, xq yo he vivido 22 años en mallorca y no he visto ningun AE86 en mi vida!
por cierto, si q hay AE86 en europa… a parte de los de las islas canarias (q aki se pusieron unas fotos de una concentracion dnd salian…) los puedes encontrar por alemania y esa zona…

me e equivocado, es un 1600cc preparado por APEX, y eso en el año 87, o sea ke pa su epoca era un ■■■■ pepino, el motor estaba muyyy apretado.
de todas formas un CRX al lado de un AE86 no triene nada ke ver.
hombre, no es lo mismo un crx que un trueno , ya lo se.
en prestaciones , basicamente son iguales , exceptuando , que en la salida me cruje el trueno xq es propulsión , pero en cuestion de relación de peso-potencia , son muy parecidos y inclisive en las cotas del coche.
lo unico que le faltaría al crx es que fuese a propulsión

Solo un apunte, si se importa un coche de japón no viene en contenedor, viene en barco junto con otros importados, como si se tratara de un coche actual nuevo de fábrica de una marca cualquiera.
PD: Yo preferiría que viniera en contenedor… solo para que nadie ajeno al coche pudiera tocarlo :razz:
